Tyler's Birthday

With Tyler's big party not planned until next weekend, his actual birthday was a quiet day. He still had another week of preschool, so first things first, we got up and dressed for school.

And of course, I had to take a birthday picture. But, he was in a bit of a silly mood, so this is the best I got from him. Yes...it is June 5 and he is in pants. It was only in the mid-50's on our way out the door!! Brrr...where is that warm weather? Maybe we will get lucky though, and not have blistering hot weather for his party next weekend!!

I sent cupcakes in for his class to help celebrate his birthday. He was very excited about these and wanted one for breakfast. And guess what...I gave in (just a mini one though)!! It was his birthday afterall!!




After school we went to Chick-fil-a for lunch with Tyler's little buddy, Bryce. He was very excited to go play with Bryce, so not much eating happened. But, they had fun.

Later in the evening, we ventured out to Toys R Us, to give him the opportunity to pick out something to spend his birthday money on. This is what he chose!! It has been a huge hit.




We also let him open Aunt Kerry and Uncle Tim's present early (well, not really early, but before his party!). He was super excited about it, too!
