A Fun Comparison

I loved these pictures of Tyler, so I decided to do the same style/poses for Lucas. I'm a month off, as these are of Tyler at 8 months and Lucas at 9 (so actually, if you take Lucas 6 weeks away, they are pretty close to the same age!).

Anyway, just thought it would be fun to compare them side by side in the same outfits.

Adding Posts

Hi everyone...so okay, I know I have to be the worst blogger. I have been TERRIBLE at keeping our blog updated...I know!! I could tell you that I will promise to do better and make a post at least once/week, but I don't want to set myself up for failure this early in the new year.

So, instead, I will say that I will make an effort to post something on here at least once a month and try for once a week.

However...we are closing on and moving into our new house in 2 weeks, so the next month or so will be VERY busy for us.

In the mean time...I am going to try and back fill the blog with some posts on things that have happened since my last post at Halloween. Eek...I've been REALLY terrible at this!!

SORRY!! Hope you guys will continue to come and check in on us.

Christmas in Arkansas

This year we decided to take a road trip at Christmas time, to visit Les' Grandad Ivey and the rest of the Gibbs' clan. It was a long two days of driving, but the boys were such good travelers.

We had such a good time visiting with everyone and the boys loved the time they were able to spend playing with their cousins.

Lucas - 9 Months

Wow...it has been a busy month for our little guy. It just seems like all the lights went on at one time and he is no longer a little baby. He has mastered sitting and is now VERY mobile. It's not exactly crawling, but the little guy can get wherever he wants (and very fast I might add), by scooting or doing the army crawl. He is also up on all fours doing the rocking. He has started the motion of crawling, but just hasn't perfected the coordination of it all yet and ends up on his belly before he can really get going. What perfect time for him to learn how to get away from me...just as we are about to move into our new house. I guess it's off to Babies "R" Us for the endless quest of babyproofing!!

He was such a great age for Christmas...still a little too young to really understand it all, but loved the lights and decorations. His favorite was our tree. He would do whatever he could to get close enough to touch it.

Enjoy...
