A Day at the Farm

Today we visited a local farm/park with some friends and the boys had a blast running around and seeing all the baby animals.

The boys were very intrigued (okay, Luke was just downright scared) of this beautiful peacock. He actually climbed back into the stroller!

Tyler loved the fact that the ducks had their own bathtub!

Luke was in heaven with all of the different things to climb on. Here he was checking out the baby lambs.

And Austin climbed up to get a better peek, too.

He really was fascinated by it all. Definitely got my exercise in today!

Luke on the other hand, was a little terrified by their momma. He wanted to be NO WHERE near their pen. Climbed right back up and buckled himself, in!

He thought the baby goats were just the cutest. I think he was the cutest. :)

Taking a wagon ride...Oh, and having a snack, too.

We had a great time. I highly recommend heading out there for a day if you're looking for something fun to do with the kiddos. Free parking, free admittance (only a small fee for the wagon ride) and very nice people!

Ice Cream Social

Mommies were invited to join the kiddos for ice cream on Monday at Tyler's school. Next week is technically the last week of school, but next Monday the school is sponsoring a "fun day" with lots of outdoor play and recreation. So the end-of-year celebration for his Monday class was yesterday. It was a fun time, but you can imagine what kind of chaos ensues when you put 12 two and three year old kids, sugared up on ice cream, popsicles and cookies in a room together!! WOW!! My hats off to his two teachers, Ms. Luz and Ms. Marie. I was ready for a nap after only 30 minutes with these little energy-filled lovies!

Still, Lucas and I did have a lot of fun sharing ice cream (okay, Tyler didn't really share very much ice cream, but Lucas did get a cookie!)...


and painting (okay, I didn't do much painting either...but he wore enough paint for both of us!!) with Tyler.


Tyler's good friend Aly is in his class. Her mommy and little sister Ava were around for the fun, too.
