Tyler's First Day of School!!

Tyler had his first day of preschool on Monday and LOVED it. His teacher's said he did wonderful. In fact, upon handing him over to his teacher on Friday he looked at me and said "see 'ya Mom!"

I'm the Big Brother!

Tyler is fully embracing the role as Big Brother and LOVES his little "Lukey" SO much. He shares and keeps watch over the little guy. He even wanted to help Mommy give Luke a bath.

Lucas Five Months

So here we are, summer is over and Lucas is already five months old. We had an exciting month, taking another small beach trip, and enjoying the remainder of our summer. Lucas is such a happy baby. We are so lucky!! He really wants to sit up on his own, but just doesn't have the strength quite yet. However, he can sit for a short amount of time supported with the Boppy. He really loves seeing things from this new perspective.

Summer Fun

Hi everyone...okay, so I know I've been terrible at keeping these posts recent. :-( Sorry!! Our summer has been crazy, and life with two little boys...well, while it's SO much fun, it is very busy!! But, we are loving every minute of it.

Last week we went to Bethany Beach for the second time this summer (we took the Dimicelli Family there for a few days, during they visit at the beginning of July). Tyler really liked playing in the sand, but didn't enjoy the ocean too much (too cold, we think).




Tyler is taking such an interest in him now. He will talk to "Lukey" (yes, it's still Lukey), share his toys with him (sometimes) and loves to lay down beside him on Lucas' playmat. He really just cannot wait to play with him...and neither can we. We learned this summer that Tyler LOVES corn on the cob and he makes us laugh A LOT!!




I'm going to REALLY try to update this once a week or so (even if it's just to add a few new pics), so that those family members who we cannot see very often will be able to see updated pics more often.

Lucas Four Months

Lucas is now nearly 12.5 pounds (as of the beginning of Aug) and 2 feet (sounds much bigger when you say feet rather than inches). :-) He is smiling, cooing and almost giving us that too cute full belly laugh. While we keep saying that it looks as though he's getting more hair...he still really doesn't have that much. But...it looks as though what new hair is growing is coming in dark. We can't wait to see if his will lighten significantly like Tyler's, or if it will remain dark. His eyes are still that intense blue though.

Family Time

The Dimicelli's visited us from Texas and we all went to Bethany Beach for a few days. This was Lucas' first beach trip and Tyler's second. Tyler had a lot of fun playing in the sand, but the water was a little cool for his taste we think.

Lucas 2 1/2 Months

Kerri got some photography toys for her birthday, so this is her first attempt at portraits of the boys. Lucas is a much easier subject since he is still not mobile. :-)
