Lucas' at Home

Lucas was released from the NICU today after two long weeks. We are so excited to have him home with us and for Tyler to have finally met his little brother!!

It's a Boy!!

Yes, you can call it a surprise!! Lucas Austin Gibbs made his way into our lives this morning shortly after 8 am. It was completely unexpected and we were very much shocked when we made our way to the hospital and Kerri's doctor determined it would be best for mommy and baby to have a C-Section...right now!! So, around 7:30, Kerri was taken into surgery and prepped for a C-section. Little Lucas Austin made his arrival at 8:41, weighing 5 pounds 3 ounces and measuring 19.25 inches long. He is a little less than 6 weeks early, but other than having a slightly hard time breathing, he seems otherwise healthy.
