We're having a baby

Yeah...after lots of trying, we're so happy to tell everyone we are having a baby. The baby is due June 14, and things are looking good. Here are the baby's first pictures, from the ultrasound at about 7 weeks.

Let's Gooo, Mountaineers!!

Les and I travelled back to the East Coast to visit our friends and family. We also attended a WVU football game while we were back. It was lots of fun. Go Mountaineers!!

...is eight and our oldest son. He keeps us busy with all of his athletic interests, including baseball and lacrosse. He is active, outgoing, social and very observant! In addition to his athletic interests, he is also a very creative child and is into the arts. It is not uncommon to hear him humming or singing his favorite song. He also loves building (and re-building) lego sets, sometimes spending HOURS at his lego table! Tyler is a great big brother to Lucas and Katelyn, and we enjoy watching him "teach" Lucas ~~all~~ most of his tricks . I throughly enjoying watching him grow and learn and am excited to see what the future holds for him, because with this BIG personality he has, I am sure He has great things planned for Tyler!

...is our youngest son, our sweet baby boy. Okay, okay...not a baby, considering he isn't the youngest and he is now a first grader! But, he will still always be momma's "baby boy"! :) As most everyone who has met him will agree...he is SUPER sweet. He just might be able to vie for the title of the sweetest, happiest boy ever! Well, except for when he is hungry, because then watch out...this little guy may have coined the term "hangry"! LOL With his sweet soul and no-fear attitude this little guy is an adventure waiting to happen! He and Tyler team up on a daily basis to REALLY keep me on my toes...add a little sister in and it's a wonder I still have any sanity! But it is so much fun to watch their relationships develop. Lucas LOVES school, never wanting to miss and always wanting to learn as much as he can. I know the day he asks me a question I can't answer is coming soon than I want. With his passion for learning, sweet soul and desire to help other people (and animals), I can totally see this child becoming a doctor (or people or animals) some day.

...four going on fourteen! As the only girl, she is very loved and VERY protected by dad and her two adoring older brothers. She's the perfect mixture of both boys with Tyler's charisma and outgoing personality and Lucas' determination and sweet spirit. She is also the perfection combination of princess and pirate! This girl will dress in her twirly dress and bow to go on an exploration quest with her old brothers. All I can do is laugh when I see her trekking through the trails covered in mud! Haha. With her creativity, spunk and strong will our days are NEVER boring.
